Business IT Services

The local IT department for valley business.

From the first cable in your office to the cloud servers running your operation, we handle the technology that keeps your business moving. One team, on call, in your time zone.

// IT Services

Six pillars of business technology.

// 01 / Managed IT Support

Your outsourced IT department.

Most small businesses can't justify a full-time IT director, but they still need someone reliable when the printer dies at 9am or the email server goes down before a big proposal goes out.

That's what Managed IT is for. A flat monthly fee gets you a dedicated team that monitors your systems, handles your support tickets, manages your software updates, and answers the phone when something breaks. We become your IT department โ€” without the cost of a salaried hire.

What's included

  • 24/7 monitoring of your servers, workstations, and network gear, so we often see problems before you do.
  • Unlimited helpdesk support via phone, email, or remote session for everyday user issues.
  • Patch management โ€” operating system, security, and software updates handled in the background.
  • Asset management โ€” full inventory of every device, license, and warranty in your business.
  • Quarterly reviews with a real human to discuss what's working, what isn't, and what's coming up.
  • Priority on-site response when remote support isn't enough.

Who it's for

Businesses with five to fifty employees who rely on technology to operate, but don't have someone in-house to manage it. Medical practices, real estate offices, hospitality, professional services, retail, nonprofits โ€” anyone who needs their tech to just work.

// Common deployments

What we install

  • + Business-grade firewalls (Sophos, Fortinet, Meraki)
  • + Managed switches with VLAN segmentation
  • + Mesh Wi-Fi 6/6E access points
  • + Structured cabling (Cat6, Cat6a)
  • + Guest networks & client portals
  • + Site-to-site VPN for multiple offices
// 02 / Networks & Wi-Fi

Networks that don't drop.

A consumer-grade router from the big box store will get you online. It will not get your business through a Friday afternoon with twenty employees on video calls, point-of-sale systems running, and a guest network for customers.

We design and install proper business networks โ€” built around how your team actually works, with the right gear, the right cabling, and the right configuration. Whether you're a single-office practice or a multi-location operation, we'll spec a network that grows with you.

Where this matters

Coverage that reaches every corner of the office (and the parking lot, if needed). Wi-Fi that doesn't slow down when guests connect. A firewall that does more than blink lights. VLANs that separate guest traffic from your accounting system. Cabling that's labeled, organized, and not a fire hazard. Speed tests that match what you're paying for.

If you've ever had to reboot a router during a meeting, you know what we're solving for.

// 03 / Cloud & Servers

Servers, cloud, or hybrid.

Some businesses are perfect candidates to move everything to the cloud. Others have specific regulatory, performance, or workflow needs that require on-premise infrastructure. Most fall somewhere in the middle.

We help you figure out what makes sense โ€” and we'll tell you honestly if cloud isn't the right answer. Then we plan the migration, set up the environment, train your team, and provide ongoing management.

What we work with

  • Microsoft 365 / Azure โ€” full deployment, migration from legacy systems, license optimization, and ongoing administration. Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Entra.
  • Google Workspace โ€” for businesses standardizing on Google, including migration from Microsoft and proper data retention setup.
  • On-premise Windows Servers โ€” domain controllers, file servers, print servers, line-of-business applications.
  • Hyper-V and VMware virtualization for businesses consolidating physical hardware.
  • Hybrid setups โ€” when some workloads stay local and others move up. Identity federation, file sync, backup integration.

Migration done carefully

Moving to the cloud isn't a weekend project โ€” it's a planned process. We start with an inventory, run a pilot with one or two users, then roll out in waves. By the time we cut over, you've already tested everything. No surprises Monday morning.

// Common projects

Recent migrations

12-person law firm

On-prem Exchange โ†’ Microsoft 365 with proper retention and eDiscovery. Two-week phased rollout.

Medical practice (3 locations)

Hybrid setup with EMR on-premise, email and collaboration in cloud, HIPAA-compliant backups.

Property management firm

G Suite โ†’ Microsoft 365 because key software didn't support Google. Mailbox migration over a weekend.

// 04 / Cybersecurity & Backup

One ransomware event shouldn't end your business.

Small businesses are the favorite target of cybercrime โ€” not because they're valuable, but because they're soft. Outdated software, weak passwords, no backup, no plan.

We build practical defenses for small business budgets: real protection that doesn't require a CISO to manage. The goal isn't perfect security โ€” it's making yourself a harder target than the next business, and being able to recover quickly when something does get through.

The layered approach

  • Perimeter: Business-grade firewall with intrusion detection, content filtering, and traffic logging.
  • Endpoint: Managed antivirus and EDR on every workstation, with central reporting.
  • Identity: Multi-factor authentication on email, VPN, and critical apps. Password manager rolled out across the team.
  • Email: Spam and phishing filtering, link rewriting, attachment sandboxing. The #1 attack vector handled properly.
  • Backup: Automated daily backups, off-site replication, tested restores. Versions retained for ransomware recovery.
  • People: Quarterly phishing simulations and security awareness training for staff.

Compliance & assessments

If you handle HIPAA, PCI, or other regulated data, we can perform a security assessment, document your current posture, and help you build the controls and documentation you need. We don't certify, but we'll get you ready for the audit.

// 05 / VoIP & Phone Systems

Business phones that work everywhere.

If you're still on a traditional landline system or paying per-line for a hosted system that hasn't changed since 2015, you're spending more than you should and getting less than you could.

Modern hosted VoIP gives your business a real phone system without the box on the wall. Calls ring on your desk phone, your laptop, your cell โ€” all the same extension. Voicemail comes to email. Auto-attendants and call routing are managed from a web browser. And it usually costs less than what you're paying now.

What you can do

  • Take office calls on your cell phone when you're out of the building, without giving out your personal number.
  • Build smart call routing โ€” direct customers to the right person, automatically, based on time, menu, or what they dial.
  • Get voicemail transcripts in your email so you can read messages instead of listening to them.
  • Run analytics on call volume, response times, missed calls, and peak hours.
  • Integrate with your CRM so calls log automatically against customer records.
  • Add or remove extensions in minutes, not days.

What we support

We deploy and manage business phone systems on multiple platforms depending on your needs โ€” RingCentral, Nextiva, Microsoft Teams Voice, and others. We'll evaluate your call patterns and recommend the right one, then handle porting your numbers, setting up the auto-attendants, training your staff, and providing ongoing support.

// Typical Savings

Cost comparison

Traditional landlines (10 lines)
$450โ€“650/mo
Modern hosted VoIP (10 users)
$200โ€“300/mo

Plus unlimited calling, mobile apps, voicemail-to-email, and call analytics โ€” features that aren't even available on most legacy systems.

// 06 / Workstations & Devices

From box to desk.

A new employee starts Monday. Their laptop arrives Friday afternoon โ€” in a box, with Windows out-of-the-box, signed into nothing.

We handle the journey from "we need a new machine" to "it's on the desk and ready to work." Specs that match the job, procurement through proper channels, imaging with your software stack, joined to your domain or Microsoft 365, configured with the right access, and data moved over from the old device if there is one.

Same goes for printers, scanners, monitors, docking stations, conference room equipment, and anything else with a power cord. We don't push hardware โ€” we recommend what makes sense for what you're actually doing.

// Questions

Frequently asked.

Do you require long-term contracts?
No. Our Managed IT agreements are month-to-month with a 30-day cancellation notice. Project work is quoted per project. We earn the renewal by doing good work โ€” not by locking you in.
What's the difference between Managed IT and break-fix?
Break-fix means you call us when something breaks and we bill you hourly. It works for very small or very stable operations, but for most businesses it ends up costing more and leaves you without a plan for prevention. Managed IT is a fixed monthly fee that covers monitoring, helpdesk, and ongoing maintenance โ€” so we're motivated to keep your systems running smoothly.
How fast do you respond when something is down?
Managed IT clients have a one-hour response SLA during business hours for critical issues, with most issues resolved within four hours. For after-hours emergencies, we have on-call support. For non-managed clients, response is best-effort based on technician availability.
Can you work with our existing IT person or vendor?
Absolutely. Many of our clients have someone internal who handles day-to-day basics and uses us for projects, specialty work, or after-hours coverage. We're happy to collaborate, not compete.
Do you do on-site work or just remote?
Both. A lot of issues we can resolve remotely in minutes โ€” but for anything physical, anything network-related, anything that needs to be touched, we come to you. We don't pretend remote support replaces being on-site when it matters.
What if we're outside your six service cities?
We focus on Palm Desert, Indian Wells, La Quinta, Rancho Mirage, Indio, and Bermuda Dunes because that's where we can guarantee fast response. We may be able to take on clients in adjacent areas for the right fit โ€” give us a call and we'll talk through it.
Can you help us combine IT and marketing under one budget?
Yes โ€” and that's where we're different. Many of our clients use us for both, with a single point of contact who coordinates between the technical and creative teams. We can build a bundled retainer that covers both sides at a reduced overall rate.
