Home & Personal Tech

Friendly help for home computers.

Slow computer? Virus? Lost files? Wi-Fi headaches? Our techs handle the everyday tech problems that drive you crazy โ€” fast, affordable, and explained in plain English. Bring it to the shop, or we'll come to you.

// What we fix

Common home tech issues.

If your computer is doing something it shouldn't, or not doing something it should, we can probably help. Here are the things we see most often.

โ†’ 01

Slow & Stuck Computers

Diagnostics and tune-ups for computers that have gotten slow, hang, freeze, or crash. Often a quick fix; sometimes a sign of bigger problems we can identify and address.

โ†’ 02

Virus & Malware Removal

Real virus cleanup, not just "running a scan." We track down what got in, remove it completely, secure the system, and help you avoid the same trap next time.

โ†’ 03

Data Recovery

Lost photos, documents, or files from a failing drive, a deleted folder, or a crashed system. We have professional recovery tools and know when (and when not) to use them.

โ†’ 04

Wi-Fi & Networking

Slow internet, dead zones, mysterious disconnections, smart-home devices that won't connect. We troubleshoot the actual cause instead of just rebooting the router.

โ†’ 05

New Computer Setup

Bought a new computer? We'll set it up, transfer your files from the old one, install your software, configure email and printers, and have you up and running.

โ†’ 06

Email & Account Help

Locked out of email, getting hacked, can't get accounts to work on your phone, want to set up new email โ€” we handle the small stuff that makes you want to scream.

โ†’ 07

Printer Problems

The eternal nemesis. Won't connect, won't print, won't talk to your phone. We can usually solve it; sometimes we'll tell you it's time to retire it.

โ†’ 08

Backup Setup

Cloud backup, external drive backup, or both. We'll set up an automated backup so your photos and documents survive the next hard drive failure.

โ†’ 09

PC & Mac Repair

Hardware repair, screen replacement, battery replacement, upgrades to extend the life of a working computer. We work on both PCs and Macs.

// Questions

Frequently asked.

How long will my repair take?
Most common repairs are completed within 24 to 48 hours. Same-day service is often available for simpler issues if you drop off early in the day. Data recovery and hardware repairs can take longer depending on what's needed.
Do you charge to look at my computer?
No โ€” diagnostics are free for most residential issues. We'll tell you what's wrong, what it'll cost to fix, and let you decide. No pressure either way.
My computer has personal stuff on it. Is that safe?
Yes. We treat every device with strict privacy. Our technicians don't browse your files, photos, or accounts beyond what's necessary to fix the issue. If we ever need to access something sensitive, we'll tell you first.
Should I back up my data before bringing it in?
If you can, yes โ€” always a good habit. But if your computer won't start or you're worried about losing files, bring it in as-is and tell us. Data preservation is the first thing we think about.
Do you work on Macs?
Yes, we work on both PCs and Macs. Most software, network, and account issues are similar across both. For physical Mac hardware repair (like screen replacements on newer models), we may refer you to Apple โ€” we'll always tell you when that's the right call.
My computer is really old. Is it worth fixing?
Sometimes yes, sometimes no โ€” and we'll tell you honestly. If your computer is more than 7โ€“8 years old and would need $300+ in repairs, we'll usually recommend putting that money toward a new one. We'd rather lose a repair than waste your money.
